Meet Freyja loving Mum to Otis and Velzy and a valuable contributor to things here at Crystal Cylinder. Freyja holds it down making moves in the showroom Friday and Saturdays and contributes in selecting new brands and products for you all. We tuned in with Freyja and got the lowdown on her enviable lockdown situ with her beautiful family.
Lockdown for me has once again made me pause, be present and come back to the simple pleasures in life. I have revisited the art of bed making. Lemon water in the morning picked straight from the tree, Neighbourhood strolls where wild flowers grow, a little bush trek nearby and thankfully I’ve managed a moment or two alone, sun soaking on the deck with my favourite RUSSH mag and coffee in hand (that’s an oat milk latte with AM blend of mother made mushrooms please).
The boys remain pretty active so it means keeping little hands busy with lots of painting, drawing, gardening, snacks, lego, skateboarding and trampoline shows… the daily motions of a mother continue.
Keen to get back into the CC showroom, the vibrant vibe, conversations and the sweet smell of nag champa burning. Follow along with us as next season sees us welcoming new brands Zulu & Zephyr and Akila Eyewear, we can’t wait to have them in store and online.
