Genuine three fin bonzer shaped by Malcolm on his most recent Australian tour. The Campbell Brothers (Malcolm and Duncan Campbell) pioneered the design in the 70s, the progressive boards expanded the consciousness and opened new realms of possibility in how waves could be ridden. The Russ Short is the iconic 70’s bonzer (Featuring subtle modern refinements) it has the characteristic boxy, hard edged rails, wide point forward, beak nose, narrow tail, and deep bonzer concave. Expect this board to surf on rail and encourage smooth drawn-out lines. It can be ridden as a high volume small wave trimmer, but they really come into their own in waves with energy and a long clean wall. This limited run of 2x boards were glassed by the experts at Rhino Laminating and have been finished in a beautiful gloss polish.
